PRINTABLE PROFESSIONAL WORKSHEET
Hair system specification template.
A repeatable hair system order needs more than a category name or color code. Record the physical build, visual references, approved tolerances, and sample ID together—then preserve that record for the reorder.
DIRECT ANSWER
What belongs in a professional specification?
Document the base, measurements, hair, density, color, grey, curl, direction, ventilation, attachment plan, approved sample, and acceptable variation. Use this worksheet during sampling, approval, inspection, and reordering.

SPECIFICATION QUESTIONS
What to preserve for the next order.
What should a hair system specification include?
Record the base construction and material, dimensions, cuttable area, hair type and length, density by zone, color reference, grey distribution, curl or wave, hair direction, knotting or ventilation method, attachment plan, tolerances, and the approved sample ID.
Is a color code enough for a reorder?
No. Keep the color code with a physical reference, lighting notes, grey distribution, hair condition, approval images, and the sample or batch ID. A code by itself does not preserve every visual variable.
What should be saved after approval?
Keep the completed specification, approved sample reference, labeled photographs, accepted tolerances, approval date, and the first successful batch ID together. That record becomes the starting point for the next reorder.
